Val d’Isère is, of course, one of the world’s best-known resorts. The area shares more than 300kms of runs with neighbouring Tignes in the fabulous Espace Killy which also offers one of the biggest lift-served verticals you’ll find anywhere at over 2000 vertical metres.

•  If you're an early bird and start your day at Le Fornet and ski across the ski area to the bottom of Tignes les Brevieres, intermediates can take the blues into Tignes Val Claret and Tignes le Lac or advanced skiers can attempt the black straight to Le Lac.

•  If you're looking to explore some off-piste then Val d’Isere has lots to offer.

•  On Monday's there is a local market where you can pick up some great deals from a new fleece or ski goggles to local delicacies from the sausage stand or cheese counter!

•  In resort there is a new sports centre where you can relax in the jacuzzi or even have a massage. Entry is free with certain lift passes.
